The food pyramid we all know about should be adhered to when trying to get the perfect six pack abs. It was built for a reason but we have to watch some groups of food. This includes the carbohydrate group, both simple and complex.
If we are honest about our efforts for lean abs we will also stay away from starches and simple carbs aas they are absorbed too quickly to have any positive effect on our body. Sweets is another. I know you sweet tooths out there won't like it but they are useless to us in terms of acheiving the perfect six pack abs.
